About
Hi I am Kristina Benshoff. I am an independent fashion designer based in North Carolina.
.I started my brand, Provocation, in 2010 where I combine my passion for sustainable sensibilities with geometric shapes and design. My brand balances a combination of textures, contrasting colors and vibrant bright all over prints using ecofriendly processes.
I studied fashion at Savannah College of Art and Design and MFA in Costume Design at The Academy of Arts University. In 2012 my collection was features at New York Fashion Week as an Emerging designer. I am currently a freelance textile, fashion and costume designer. Mission
My mission is to try my best to create clothing with low impact to our environment. I stive to design sustainably using deadstock, organic, post-consume and other sustainable fabrics. I currently make EcoUndies out of my scrap fabrics so less fabric ends up in landfills. Visit my Etsy shop to purchase.
